Monument "Doktor"

Russia, the city of Magnitogorsk, Metallurgists Square

On October 2, 2018, a bronze monument to the Zemstvo doctor was opened in the Magnitogorsk Square of Metallurgists. Thus, the city administration expressed gratitude to all the doctors for their hard work.

The figure was made by the Magnitogorsk sculptor Gennady Plakhov. The monument was cast by Ivan Dubrovin in Yekaterinburg - it took a month and a half. The sculpture turned into a human height - 185 centimeters. and it weighs 612 kilograms, the material is bronze. After installation in the park, the Magnitogorsk residents managed to come up with a new sign: to rub the doctor's suitcase - to health.
