Violated one, violated two - you get a big fine

Every day, interdepartmental working groups continue to monitor compliance with the mask regimen and sanitary and epidemiological standards in shopping centers, chain stores, hairdressers, consumer services organizations and public catering.

In total, from May 12 to July 2, 6 515 objects and organizations were inspected, 217 protocols were compiled. Daily raids show that the lack of personal protective equipment for respiratory organs remains the main violation that working groups can detect.

Under special attention are large chain grocery and non-food stores. It is in them that in recent times, cases of violation of the mask regime by both customers and employees have become more frequent. So, the facts of violation of the mandatory requirements of the high-alert mode by officials in the Magnit, Pyaterochka and Traffic Light retail chains were revealed. Accordingly, they compiled five protocols for committing an administrative offense, as provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.

According to Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, the sanction for this violation for officials entails a fine in the amount of ten thousand to fifty thousand rubles.

The object on which violations have been identified must be added to the list for re-verification. It should be noted that for the repeated commission of an offense under Part 1 of Article 20.6.1 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses, a fine is imposed on officials - from three hundred thousand to five hundred thousand rubles or disqualification for a period of from one year to three years.
