To the attention of citizens of Uzbekistan living in the Chelyabinsk region
December 22, 2019 in Uzbekistan, elections will be held for deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and deputies of local Kengashes.
Elections are held in accordance with the new Electoral Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. For the first time, five political parties were represented in the elections - the Milli Tiklanish Democratic Party (National Revival), the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Movement of Entrepreneurs and Business People - Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the Social Democratic Party Adolat (Justice) and Ecological Party of Uzbekistan.
In order to ensure the electoral rights of citizens of Uzbekistan located in Russia, special polling stations have been created at the diplomatic mission and consulates general of the republic in the Russian Federation. In this regard, we inform that citizens of Uzbekistan temporarily or permanently residing in the Chelyabinsk region can take part in the elections by visiting polling station No. 18 in the city of Yekaterinburg.

The schedule of the polling station is December 22, 2019, on election day: from 08:00 to 20:00.
Citizens of Uzbekistan located in the Chelyabinsk region also have the opportunity to vote ahead of schedule. Early voting will be held on December 13, 2019 at MKU “Center for National Unity” in Chelyabinsk, Salyutnaya Street, 22, from 13:00 to 16:00.
In accordance with the current procedure, citizens temporarily or permanently residing abroad, apply in writing to the precinct election commission for voting. The appeal must indicate the surname, name, patronymic of the citizen; his date of birth, last permanent residence in the Republic of Uzbekistan (if any), address of residence abroad, phone number, copy of a passport with a note on registration in Uzbekistan (if any), one photo 3x4 centimeters. If the indicated data are absent in the written application of the citizen, this may become the basis for not being included in the election list.
In addition, citizens of Uzbekistan can submit an application to the precinct election commission abroad in electronic form for inclusion in the voters list at least fifteen days before the election through the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
At present, the option “ electronic registration ” of voters has already been opened on this resource, containing a special questionnaire, upon completion of which the user receives a personal identification number of an individual.
