The acceptance of applications for participation in the start of the World Cup stage this season, which will be held on December 7-8 in the Southern Urals at the Bannoe ski resort, has ended. 97 athletes from 17 countries, including Russia, confirmed their participation.
The awards in the parallel slalom and parallel giant slalom disciplines will be awarded between representatives of Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey and Russia. The starts promise to be spectacular - on the slopes of Bannoye the brightest stars of the domestic and world snowboard will compete in speed. Titled riders will fight for medals, behind which they will participate in the Olympic Games, World Championships and numerous stages of the World Cup.
Two-time Olympic champion Vic Wild, the winner of the main world trophy - the Big Crystal Globe and the leader of the World Cup overall ranking in the 2018-2019 season 2018-2019 Andrei Sobolev, the two-time world champion Dmitry Loginov and the silver medalist of the same championship Natalya Soboleva, will enter our country .

The German national team will be played by Selina Jörg - the silver medalist of the 2018 Olympic Games and the reigning world champion in the parallel giant slalom discipline, as well as Ramona Theresia Hofmeister, who won bronze in Pyeongchang and won third place at the US World Championship last February . Another world champion of this year will also come to Russia, the leader of the overall standings in parallel slalom - Julie Tsogg from Switzerland. Austrian athletes will be represented by stars such as the 46-year-old Claudia Riegler, who made her world debut in 1994 and Daniela Ulbing, the 2017 world champion.
Such a stellar cast of participants promises spectacular starts, a lot of struggle and an unforgettable experience for the fans.
