Everything's under control
The work of the “think tank” of the Public Chamber of the Chelyabinsk Region can be seen live.
Which complaints about the course of the elections were confirmed, and which turned out to be fake? The South Urals were able to find out about this during an online inclusion from the Center for Monitoring the Implementation of Citizens' Electoral Rights. This is where all the operational information comes from independent observers prepared by the regional Public Chamber, its mobile groups and the “hot line”.
Every hour, lawyers, lawyers and lawyers receive summaries of all complaints received, analyze them and resolve them. The first direct inclusion took place at 16:45. The event was held by the Chairman of the Public Chamber of the Chelyabinsk Region Oleg Dubrovin. He noted that the election of the governor in all municipalities of the Southern Urals is fairly calm, without serious violations. The vast majority of applications relate to elections to local authorities.
Ivan Zasursky, member of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights, took part in the meeting. During his speech, he also assessed the course of elections in the region as satisfactory.
All appeals received by the Public Chamber are thoroughly checked by ten mobile groups. One of them is the mobile group of the HRC.
The absence of serious problems during the election process was also noted by another member of the HRC monitoring group, Albert Gourman, who said that most of the complaints posted on the Internet turn out to be fake.
Independent observers from the Public Chamber also give their assessment of the voting process. Volunteers were trained with the support of the regional Council of Veterans of War, Labor, the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies, the regional union of trade union organizations “Federation of Trade Unions of the Chelyabinsk Region”, the regional branch of the All-Russian public organization “Association of Russian Lawyers” and the “For Clean Elections” Corps.
Monitoring of the electoral rights of citizens in prisons continues. “The restriction of freedom should not limit the suffrage of prisoners. This is what we are following. No violations were recorded, all the necessary conditions for a comfortable vote were created for the prisoners, ”said the observer for the Public Chamber of the Chelyabinsk Region, Chairman of the PMC Vasily Katane.
Calls to the “hot line” of the Public Chamber do not stop coming. Among the appeals, a request for a home-based vote for a disabled person of the first group was granted.
Recall that the next direct inclusion from the Center for Monitoring the Implementation of Electoral Rights of Citizens of the Public Chamber will take place at 19:00 on 1obl.tv.
