Work for the benefit of the South Urals
The youth of Magnitogorsk took part in the forum “Texler-2019 Public Initiative”, which was held last Friday in the building of the South Ural State University. Eleven activists presented their projects aimed at the development of volunteerism, youth policy and social support for vulnerable groups of the population, the solution of pressing environmental issues.
The “Public Initiative” unites like-minded people from all over the region who are set to develop the Southern Urals. The portal, through which any resident of the Chelyabinsk region can voice their initiative, has become a single platform for the project. Eighteen activists from Magnitogorsk have already responded to the proposal.
“At the event, initiatives that were collected for several months were announced, among them was mine,” said Oleg Vedernikov, a forum participant. “I believe that this format has proved the right to life, and therefore the forum should become an annual event, the head of the region also believes.”
It is worth adding that as part of the event, a plenary meeting was held with the participation of Alexei Teksler, master classes were held for participants on team work, raising funds from philanthropists and developing digital technologies in the social sphere.
