Happy New Year!

In the pre-holiday days and in the New Year holidays, residents and visitors of the city will enjoy a rich cultural and entertainment program.

An open-air theater will unfold in the Square of Festivities. From December 26, 2018 to January 8, 2019, from 12:00 to 14:00, young Magnitogorsk people will be able to become participants in the quest play based on Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin’s fairy tales “New Year in Lukomorye”. The grand opening of the central ice town is scheduled for December 25 at 18:00. The scenario will be prepared by the groups of the Magnitogorsk Concert Association.

On Victory Square, the ice town will be launched on December 26 at 15:00. Then every day until January 11 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm everyone is invited to have fun “Visiting a Fairy Tale”.

Opening of ice towns in squares named after B.A. Rucheva, Conservatory, and on the square near the Palace of Culture of Railwaymen will take place on December 27 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, in the Metallurgists' Square - from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.In addition, on December 28, 29, 2018 and January 9, 10, and 11, 2019, kids are invited to become participants of the interlude at the New Year tree in the squares named after B.A. Brook, Metallurgists and Conservative from 15:00 to 16:00, on the square near the Palace of culture of railway workers - from 17:00 to 18:00.

Every day from 15:00 to 17:00 on the central and from 16:00 to 17:00 the regional ice camps for Magnitogorsk of all ages will be presented a sports program: “Merry starts”, tug-of-war, hockey, competitions on sledges, skis and with balls . On sites from 9 to 12 January 2019 from 14:00 to 15:00 for the schoolchildren will be organized competitive game program "Winter Fun". The meeting of the Old New Year will be held on January 13 at 5:00 pm in the districts, at 6:00 pm - on the square near the Clock Tower.

Also, residents and guests of Magnitogorsk are invited to theatrical performances, the schedule of which is presented in theattachment .
